As we all know, we have to change our ways to get there. It’s possible and accessible. That's the outlook of Lampiris. To enable you to do what you already want to do.
The wind, water, sun, biomass are all renewable energies. As such, they cannot be exhausted, yet they can be erratic (water flow, hours of sunshine, wind speed). Using them sensibly and changing our consumption behaviour will enable many more people to benefit from them. The environment will be even better protected.
We're quite convinced that, if our future is to be rosy, it will need to be green. That’s why our role goes beyond merely providing clean energy at the same price: we also support projects linked to protecting the environment, such as «World Land Trust» (financial support) and Ice Challenge (a year's-worth of green energy is offered free to the winner of this competition, which is intended to raise public awareness of the issue of greenhouse gases).
If one has a policy of this kind, it has to be applied in-house first. At Lampiris, we sort all waste material in-house; we encourage electronic invoicing and communications, and use only totally recycled paper.
Lampiris is completely oriented towards renewable energies because, in the long run, they provide the best solution currently on offer, in terms both of saving the planet and safeguarding the economy.
We believe it’s vital to encourage changes in our behaviour. That's why Lampiris regularly organises publicity campaigns on sustainable development and responds favourably to requests from schools for talks on renewable energy.
